Il saggio si propone una sintetica analisi degli articoli sulle esposizioni d’arte milanesi pubblicati sul quotidiano “L’Ambrosiano” tra il 1922 e il 1944. Gli articoli, di cui si fornisce un elenco in appendice al testo della Raimondo, costituiscono il mezzo più utile per creare una vera e propria mappatura delle esposizioni milanesi attraverso le indicazioni degli artisti in mostra e delle gallerie che li ospitavano. Tra i nomi degli intellettuali e artisti che scrivono questi articoli, testimonianza della vivacità culturale di Milano, spicca soprattutto Carlo Carrà. Le gallerie d’arte più citate sono certamente la galleria Pesaro, la Galleria del Milione, la Galleria Milano e la Galleria Gian Ferrari.

The paper is a synthetic analysis of the articles concerning the art exhibitions in Milan and published on the newspaper “L’Ambrosiano” between 1922 and 1944. Thanks to the notes about the artists and the galleries where they used to display, these articles are an useful instrument to bring out a map of the exhibitions that took place in Milan in that period of time. The essay, that is closed by a list of the exhibitions’ articles, focuses on the authors of these texts, and in particular on Carlo Carrà. The Milan’s private galleries most cited are the Galleria Pesaro, the Galleria del Milione, the Galleria Milano and the Galleria Gian Ferrari.
